Electromagnetic propulsion in a handheld format.
Developed by Ytsab Defence in Sweden, Ygun is an electromagnetic rifle platform. It uses electrical energy to propel a projectile, rather than gunpowder or combustion.
Ygun is part of our work applying electromagnetic technology across different system formats, alongside our collaborative research into larger launch platforms.
